Hit up parts yards and all the 73-87 forums you can find. Or at least thats what I had to do before I found my buckets. Of course I wanted a set of the stock bucket seats, which dont seem to be all that easy to find.
Now this isnt my current interior, but its a pic I found online that Im workin toward. I was thinking of going custom, but this shot convoinced me that stock can look great. ![]() |

Hello, for the bucket seats to work you must have seats from a 73-87 chevy/gmc pickup or suburban only...suburban to 91.the floor has a hump that's above the saddle tanks... the blazer floor is flat and won't work!I have a set in my 87 truck that was very hard to find...I think that they made that option on like 4 trucks between 73-87 but if you look at the suburbans it should be more availible.

hey the suburban buckets will bolt in, but you have to make the inside front and back bracket. i'll take pictures on mine and show you later.

I had some buckets outta a 1995 Dodge Caravan in my Bronco II. They were hella comfy, with arm rests too. I'm trying to talk my wife into letting me put four of them into my crew cab, she wants me to keep the bench seats so she can sit next to me.

Stop wearing deodorant for a few months until she decides buckets might be better after all.

I used Leather Grand Am Buckets and a Blazer Console. The seat brackets were 3/8" X 3". I had to put a 90 degree step on the inner bracket to fit the cab floor recess.

Those seats are cool, but I don't think they look right with that console. I think a console from a 99 or 2000 Escalade or Denali would look better with those seats.

I agree. That is a quick fix. Those seats and console cost $60. I was thinking more about a custom console. Not very big on the entire center of the truck being covered up though. I was thinking about the Corvette style seats with the middle seat/console from Summit.

I lucked out and found a running and driving donor truck with factory buckets and console, swapped out the buckets with a bench seat and then turned the donor truck and got my money back!

Run the seat that makes the most sense as buckets do have their disadvantage. I managed to find a donor factory bucket seat truck with all of the mounting hardware for my project. I've included pictures of the inner seat bracket and the rear console mounting brackets.

I've got a set of factory buckets that i would trade for a bench. Honestly I'm not sure of the quality of the buckets since i bought the truck since i have been deployed but i will be back home in a week or two.
