I'm not sure if they will work, but I have heard of people using F-Body headers before. Schoenfeld are the best fit for your money though.

Fbody headers (hear say) require just a little bit of trimming

We set up a customer with some BBK headers from an F-body, and they fit right in there. Small trim on the passenger side frame by the collector.

Moose, question about those headers. Right now I'm running edelbrock shorty headers and with the dump pipe angle, I had to run my pipes under the trans crossmember. With the headers you're running, do you have your exhaust above or below the crossmember? I know I could get mine to work with a custom pipe, but I'd also like to upgrade to longtube.

I know you said headers, but just thought I'd through this out there. 2010 Camaro style manifolds slip in there with out modification and sometimes can be found cheap or free. Thats the route I took.

I've got the f-body longtubes on my 78, they had to be bent a little to fit. On my 81 I'm running the hedman huster headers part # 45663 (black ceramic coated). but they come uncoated for cheaper.
