I installed a 95 Chevy GMC S-10 Blazer sending unit into the same tank under my bed of my truck. I thought this was the same ohm as my fuel gauge. My gauge shows empty with a full tanlk of gas. My truck is 69 C10, used to have a 307. Any help is needed. Thanks

check to see if you have a good ground you should be able to test for power at the guage, you can also remove the wire from the sender look there the needle points then ground that wire out and see if the needle moves if it doesnt you have a wiring issue

well my fuel pump is working so I know that I have a good ground because doesn't the sender and the pump share the same ground. Also, when I hooked up the gauge it moved a tiny bit like it was getting a connection but it only moves about 1/16 of an inch and stays on empty. So I think it is getting a connection.
