I have a BBC in my 79. I went through a lot of research and bought a couple sets and was not able to find any that didnt hang below the frame. So I decided to raise the engine 1.5". I ended up with Sanderson headers C6. They work with my raised crossmember and mustang rack also.

Good luck.
